What maintenance can only be done with Techstream?
I need to change the brake fluid but I know there are other things that can be done with it. If I buy Techstream for a day, what else can I get out of it?
Well, you can shut off those blasted Daytime Running Lamps.
You can shut off the steering wheel from adjusting every time you shut off/turn on the ignition.
And, you can program New Keys (maximum of 3 keys total, I think).
Also, you can adjust how long the interior lights stay on after the doors close.
I flushed and bled my brake fluid the old fashioned way, btw
Oh, and you program new TPM sensors.
There's more, but that's all I can think of.
I just did a quick glance at what that code is and I'm not sure what it is and why it would be in your system for two years.
As far as I can tell, that's your computer telling you it's not getting satisfaction when running some diagnostics because the car isn't being driven in a proper cycle. I don't know, really, I'm just guessing.
If anything can "clear" that code, it would be Techstream.
Techstream is king, in terms of ruling over Toyota's computers.
But not even Techstream will "clear" a code on an unresolved issue. It will delete the code for a time until the next drive cycle initiates the code.

The full code is permanent fault code 7f 0a 11.
Nobody knows what it means.
I'm thinking Techstream can finally clear it. It seems to be emissions related but there are no issues that I can find.
Mode $0A, also known as Mode $10, was created, with NVRAM, to store these permanent codes. Memory storage capacity must store the data from up to 4 codes, as well as misfire and fuel trim data
7F= Engine run time in seconds 11= Throttle position in %
