Had the RX almost a week, this afternoon after start up there it was, the check engine light and VSC light on.... a tip for everyone .. check the gas caps tight and clean where the O ring seats on the filler neck, .... turn ignition on then off... then start engine ...problem solved... i could not hook up scanner as i have one coming from ebay

FYI - the VSC and TRAK OFF lights will always come on when the check engine light comes on. It is a warning that the ECU has turned them off as a safety thing because of the problem that is causing the check engine light.

Thanks Dennis did not know that the Trak always comes on with the check engine light ... learning as i go along lol
