Default Dashboard Blotchy

I’m detailing my newly acquired RX330 and the black dashboard is looking... blotchy? with white residue or something. Looking online, it looks like i just have to give it a fair number of passes with cleaner and a microfiber cloth to bring it back to black, but i want to make sure that it wont become damaged or more blotchy if i do that and also if anyone recommenda any products in particular? I use Turtle Wax interior dash and glass cleaner on all my cars and love it but maybe there’s something better. Then i’ll coat with 303 aerospace protectant.

Do you not find the dash (especially after polishing) is very reflective? Anyone found an easy solution to that problem. Not the furry cover – I got one of those and it got covered in dog hair and kept slipping off its stickies. And it really wasn't a great look.

Your plan looks good! I use AS303 a lot. I was lucky to have my dashboard replaced on a recall Lexus did. Mine was cracking as well, even though I took care of it very well and not exposed it to sun damage. A friend bit the bullet and bought a dashboard and I had my Lexus Tech friend install it for him. Final Cost was $400.00.
