Default Good deal or not

I have a 2009 RX 350 and LOVE it. My dad is looking for a good reliable used car and has found a 2008 RX350 with only 8,200 miles. Private party seller is asking $17,500 for car. I know that is obviously extremely low miles, but at 13 years old do you think it is overpriced? Opinions??

1. price here - https://www.kbb.com/
2. car should be driven regularly. otherwise, inner corrosion; oils, lubricants and fluids, rubber parts, etc. lost their characteristics. Hence, car will need "full" maintenance ($$$)

As someone who paid a lot more than usual for a low-miles 2009 RX in 2018, I'd buy it. I like low miles. Under 10K is quite rare.
Was it garaged? If it was always garaged (and you can tell), I'd be all over it.

That is super low miles, But its not a collector car so I'd pass at that price.....IDK what options it as well if its awd or not....Possibly tack on 2-3k for condition & low miles.......I'd think it was always garaged as well.....My thinking is I'd pass as it hasn't been driven hardly at all.......Not knowing if it was prepped for sitting for a long time.....

For $17,500 you could buy a 2015 RX..... 2008 no more than 10k

Thats my thinking as well if it was back in '19....Nowadays you'll find 10%-30% being tacked on used vehicles......as well as the low miles & condition & options......Thats why I'd be thinking 12k-13K.....For the $17.500 a early gen3 '10' to possibly a '13......

Thanks all, I did pass. It was garaged, but not driven. Worried about it sitting too long. I have run across another that is of interest...2007 68,000 miles has Performance, Premium packages as well as Tow package. Dealer asking $13,900. I know it is an older car, but I much prefer the body style and especially the interior of this 2nd Gen. Any thoughts.
