OIL light flashes every now and then when coming to a stop, could it be the sending unit?, Vehicle drives normally
The previous owner neglected routine make on my RX350, I'm sure that included Oil changes, I'm catching up on the maintenance items

Without an oil pressure gauge all you can do is guess, or replace the sending unit see what happens. I've seen them fail and report lower pressure when there wasn't.

replace the sensor as a heap starting point. under hard accelleration does it blow smoke out the exhaust? if oil changes have been negelected, it is common for these engines to "gum" up.

Already great posts above.
The oil presure light is major concern.

The first thing you want to do is check the oil level. If the oil level is getting very low, coming to a stop makes the oil rush to the front of the car and the oil pump pickup tube sucks air.

Checking oil presure would be my next step like mentioned above.
Question: did anyone confirm if it is an oil presure light or oil level light or both???
I haven't looked into it but if someone knows, please let us know.
Also, depending on the results of an oil pressure test(if I had to go there) would determine if I would trade the car in and move on or be ready for some major work possibly.

Before we start doing pressure tests and replacing pickups...
I know you wrote it "drives normally," but what's the RPM at idle when in gear? Maybe, due to lack of maintenance as you mentioned, the car is running lousy and the RPM's go low enough to trigger that light under those conditions (idle, while in gear, possibly with AC on). The car might not stall, maybe these Lexus's don't even shake, but at, say, 400 RPMs at a stop sign, the car isn't going run right, and the computer will likely report low oil pressure, (same as it does with KOEO, Key On, Engine Off.)
*In other words, my guess is the RPM get low enough to trigger the oil light but the car doesn't stall, and it's a matter of lack of changing worn out parts at their proper mileage interval.
If the RPM's are abnormally low, move on to the checking the basics: Air and Fuel, Spark. How's the Air Filter? Ever change the PCV? Ever change the spark plugs? I'm not suggesting you replace any of these parts; I'm suggesting you Inspect them to rule them out as a cause of an issue.

Yeah not sure if OP mentioned it but if car is running like crapola or any other info that may be important plz let us know.

Those are some Great Tips, I replaced the PCV Valve,it was gummed up and stuck closed ,
Maf sensor was clean
New air filter
I inspected the front 3 Spark plugs, looked normal
OIL level is good
It's my wife's car, she drives it 99% of the time so I'm not sure about if the RPM drops, it's only happened to me one time and I didn't notice any change in the RPM, I came to a stop sign and the Oil light flickered for 2 seconds
Maybe I should put some fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank?🤔 Maybe they are not spraying at optimum level?

a friend on his second hand rx350 had the pcv valve gummed up. when he removed the rocker covers they were also gummed up . he had them cleaned and flushed the engine a number of times to remove all the sludge (it blue smoke under hard accelleration) This sludge build up is typical of regular oil chamges not being carried out. The car seems to be ok now.
