How many’09 RX Pebble Beach were produced from Canada and Japan
I was told there was supposed to be 5000 produced . Any sources to answer this question? My car was built 12/08 in Canada

Call Lexus and ask or email them. I've emailed Toyota a few times about production numbers of rare models they responded.

I have a PBE.
From the old articles I've read, production was limited to 6,000.
What is still a mystery to me is why some of the PB badges are high on the fenders, and some RX's have the badge low on the fender.
Lexus issued a bulletin, L-SB-0163-08, in November 2008:
"Some 2009 model year Pebble Beach Edition RX models may experience a condition where the Pebble Beach Emblem falls off or slides down the fender in hot weather. An improved emblem has been developed to correct this condition. Use the repair procedure below to replace the emblem."
From the illustrations in the bulletin, I suspect some service techs might have re-installed the badges in the wrong location.
