Default Air compresoor

Lexus RX300 SE-L 2004
A few days ago I lost my air suspension, now feels like a bucking bronco, I checked the 60amp fuse and that is all fine, but I cannot get the relay out of the fuse box to check it
The height lights all work as does the switch to turn it off below the consol, today I stripped out the trunk and it's compartment trays to check the Air Suspension compressor but no compressor was there, as I had been lead to believe can someone tell me where it should be, please.
Should I check the leveling sensors too?
Many thanks

You need to check all pieces that make-up the leveling system, not just the fuse, relay, whatever. Even the switch in the dash could be bad.

As for where the air pump is, it is not inside the passenger cabin, it is probably too noisy to be inside. It is located in the right rear corner of the car, mounted underneath in the very corner. See the attached pdf file. I have also found a used unit on ebay that I am posting a link to because it has photos to help you understand what the thing looks like.

The air assist is an option I don't have but it must be a rare feature judging by the cost of an old used compressor in dennismik's ebay link, they sure aren't giving them away.
Hate to see what a new oem unit costs.

What you see in that ebay link is the entire ball of wax, so to speak. It consists of the air pump, and exhaust solenoid several mounting brackets and smaller miscellaneous pieces. All pieces are sold separately.

Bend over and drop your drawers - here comes comes some non-discounted list prices. The air compressor all by its lonesome is $2199.33! The cover that goes over the pump assembly to keep it dry is $505.32. I didn't break out the calculator and add them all up, but I can easily see that thing on ebay costing well over $3000 if bought brand new at list price.

Have to say I'm glad I have good old coil springs.

Thank you for your input,
I found it very hard and indeed dangerous to jack the vehicle up and my 2 Ton jack could not get the tyre completely off the ground as the suspension was dropped right down, However I did manage to get to the compressor and confirm there was power to it, so given that news, I have bought a new compressor off of ebay, it's an OEM from Germany Lexus RX (U3) 2003-'08 NEW MIESSLER Air Suspension Compressor Pump 4891048010/11
(164633348090) I've gone for this option as it has a 2 years warranty, arriving on the 21st hopefully. I can also get a repair kit for the old compressor and resell to cover the expenditure of the new one, incidentally, the new one cost £247 GBP - 339 US$

If Miessler is the OEM for this compressor we are looking at some big time markup $$$ by Lexus, holy cow!
Plz let us know how it goes.
