Shopping for an RX 350 - 2007 vs 2009?
I'm in the market for an RX-350, and have found two that interest me:
2007 AWD, 105,000 miles, good condition, clean CarFax, ~$13,000
2009 AWD, 170,000 miles, good condition, clean CarFax, ~$10,000
I'm leaning towards the 2007 due to the much lower mileage, even though it's $3000 more. Does that make sense? I put a fair amount of mileage on my car, usually 20-25,000 miles a year...
Thanks for any thoughts!

I would compare how many owners and the service records for each car.
And which, if any, was parked in a garage at night.
Do they both have the same options, such as AWD, Nav Screen, 18" or 17" wheels?
Ceteris paribus, or "all other things being equal," I'd probably take the 2009 and keep the $3K in my pocket.

You really need to compare the individual specimens and how they were upkept. as spinellib said look at the options and see what's important to you.
Also, check if the dash was replaced under warranty. If not, it WILL fail and you'll be extremely annoyed with the cracked dash interior. more importantly check if the oil cooler and vvt-i hoses were replaced with metal ones (these are separate recalls that get confused with one another. my 07 had a rust spot in the rear left wheel well. check for rust on both vehicles. 07's and 09's are visually and mechanically identical with the exception that the 08+ had chrome door handles.

I bought 2007 AWD at 110,000 miles in August 2021. One previous owner, no wrecks/flood.
$10,300 Out The Door from Houston Texas LEXUS Dealer
New Tires..... New Brakes Front and Rear
The maintenance records are quite good and no wrecks.
As I understand, the 2007steering is very "light" feel.
I refer to such as the Soccer Mom type drive. Not at all my preference as I like more resistance when turning the steering wheel, more "road feel" might be term.
As I understand that has improved after 2007 Model.
( Do not get me wrong, I have met a Soccer Mom or two that I am fond of! )
Unfortunately, the original owner did not have the dash replaced via recall/warranty and mine was terrible, so I added the Dash cover.
My previous ride was 2016 Infinity QX50 AWD.
The RX350 completely outperforms the QX50 all aspects.

- for that kind of price $10k it would take me 5 minutes to drive down and buy it.
Nothing but over priced beaters on Craigslist for last 2 years mostly from shady car flippers and I get notifications daily.
