2005 RX330 headlights not working but all others are?
2005 RX330 with 230K miles. Just purchased. The main headlights when set to “auto” shine very dull. When set to on, don’t come on at all. Brights work. Only the small side lights come on.
is this an inverter? Just bought this car with impeccable maintenance records. Does anyone know what could be the issue?

Are they halogen? or xenons? If halogens, easy peasy swap.
If Xenons, some diag req'd. Could be the bulbs, could be the ballasts.
Luckily it isn't too much effort to remove the bumper cover on these, quite easy actually, then it'll expose the lights to swap ballasts over, or just change them all to new ones (eBay has tons on the cheap, not like years ago where they cost 150$ ea.)
