Help! I am in the market for a new SUV and have decided on the RX330. The only problem is the dealer in my area says they cannot get the Crystal White with Gray Leather. I called around and found that there are some available very far away from us, and our local dealer is telling me it would cost us around $800 to get it shipped AND he might not be able to negotiate on the price if he has to ship-he offered 2K off MSRP. Any suggestions? Also, is 2K off a good deal or should I keep working it? I am looking at the Premium Package Plus. And finally, can you add the backup camera as an individual option? Thanks!!

I think you can do better than 2k off MSRP, try for 3 at least. Camera comes with navigation, not by itself.

Thanks for the info. If we go for the entertainment or nav with camera, do you think 3K is still what we should go after for a discount or more?

I have the white/gray combination and was told it was a very difficult combination to get (at least in the midwest). I negotiated with 10 dealers and only one had the white with gray. Keep trying other dealers in a larger radius, you might have better luck in getting the color and price you want.

OR your other option is to custom order it. Even though the brochure may not offer a specific color combo u want, if your willing to wait and put down a deposit, your dealer CAN order your Lexus EXACTLY how u want it.

Remember, dealers want to sell what is on their lot. FYI, RX 330s are selling hot. The average sitting time for a RX is 12 days. That is incredible for an expensive car/SUV.

White with beige is on about 98% of all Lexus cars/SUVs sold. White with gray is rare and the rarest is white with black.
