I find the KYB struts work great, a little firmer, but then all I have gauge them w/ is the oem ones. I really recommend using the oem springs, strut mounts vs the ''quickstruts'' I've installed a few quickstruts on a few cars yrs ago & find the side to side height differents as well as one look at the thickness of the coils vs the oem coils. I've read many reviews of which ppl have installed KYB struts & see ppl say they ride rough or they work & ride great. Seems like its a love/hate for KYB's....Heck I've used KYB's gas-a-just shocks on performance/muscle cars for yrs as well as my brothers. That was the go to cost effective shock that worked.......

I drove someone's 2007 RX350 with quick struts recently. He had mismatched brands in the front and rear. The rear was jacked up higher, and the front was about stock height. It rode awful. Rough and very floaty. My RX with original 222k suspension handled and rode better than it minus the clunks.

Do you happen to know what brand(s) it has?

Also, does anyone have experience with Gabriel Ultra ReadyMount struts?

They were cheap FCS I do not recommend those. Sachs or KYB only imo. I don't like quick struts

I replaced my OEM struts with FCS complete assembly a month ago. So far they are ok. This is my first RX and OEM struts were bad so I don't have anything to compare it to. FCS came with a lifetime warranty.

I'd pass on all those & get a pr of KYB struts using the oem strut mounts....Thats what I used for the front just last week....Rides just a touch firmer then the leaking/seeping oem struts......

Awesome Felix.
So you finally pulled the trigger on some KYB's?

Mine felt like they were a little more "sporty" with new KYB's up front vs compared to the wore out old ones, if that's a good description.

I didn't have time and money to go with KYB or OEM, so I got the set of Gabriel Ultra ReadyMount with Sankei 555 front and rear sway bar links.

My RX350 now rides great. It's much more comfortable, smooth, balanced, and quiet!

Thats great. Did you happen to measure the before & after installation? Side to side as well?

I completely forgot to, plus its been 100+ degrees here daily. Before the camber in the rear were -1.9 degrees and now they are -1.2

I no longer have a constant noise at slow speeds due to the front strut mounts being worn and pop noise on bumps
