I had to make a separate post about this because I think it is both hilarious and amazing that this actually worked and continues to work so flawlessly. If you're on a tight budget and want a steering rack for cheaper, or you would rather have a more raw, heavy feedback from your steering, you can DIRECTLY FITa steering rack from a 2001-2003 Toyota Highlander. In my case, I was both on a budget and wanted a more "sporty" feel from the steering. 01-03 Highlander rack went in like it belonged and now my steering feels like my 2002 Highlander, nice and firm, yet still buttery smooth!

Don't worry! That rusty, leaky piece of junk is my old rack! LoL

Thank you! I’m not sure why this is the case, but it seems to just be a fact. I’m pretty sure Camry racks of this vintage will fit too, but I think they’re even more soft than an RX rack and have more turns to lock.

Well.... Not that you blabbed your secret everyone is gonna buy 'em and dry up the supply of the cheaper/better option. haha Just Kidding!
For real it's an exact swap and no funny business hooking back up the PS fluid ines, etc??? Amazing If so IMO.

That’s right! A lot of times when I do something like this, other parts need to be swapped, modified or more - but this was such a no-brainer swap for such a massive component.

Unfortunately not. However, I have heard that the early Toyota Tacoma ones and other 1GR-FE vehicles use the same one as well. Good luck!
