Vehicle - 2008 RX350
There is a plastic clamp that keeps the pipe from the AC Compressor attached to the evaporator manifold at the firewall. Rather there are two pipes there - one large dia and one small dia. Both of them attach to the manifold at the firewall with a sort of clamshell looking plastic clamp.

So I needed one for the large dia pipe. Local dealer told me that Part Number is 88718-02160. I ordered it. But the clamp has a bigger diameter for the small dia pipe and a smaller dia for the large dia pipe.

What is the correct Part Number for the clamp that connects the larger dia pipe (nearer to the fender)? I want to make sure I get the correct part. Any help would be highly appreciated.

As I look at the parts diagram, I do not see another clamp in the vicinity. You may have to talk to the dealer and talk to them.

There are 3 diagrams on the page and you want to look at the 3rd one that is 2/3 of the way down. The clamp you got is part # 6 towards the top right of the diagram.

Thanks so much Dennis. Part number 6 has the same part number that did not fit. They list is as 88878-02160.

Could it possibly be Part No. 88718-52260 ?

Sorry there is a typo. The part that did not fit is 88718-02160

I don't think that 88718-52260 is the one. See link - https://www.mylparts.com/oem-parts/l...amp-8871852260 that number is for 2016 - 2021.

I don't know what to tell you. If you bought the part at a dealer, go talk to them. Measure the pipe diameters before you go, it might help.

Final Update: For a 2008 Lexus RX350 - the following Refrigerant Line clamps fit:

Suction Side - (larger dia) - 88718-02160
Liquid Line - (smaller dia) - 88718-02170

Mechanic corrected himself. Said it clamped without a problem today. Must be he was not aligning it properly.
