Will 235/60/18 fit on 2009 RX350?
For 18" wheels, the oem tire size is 235/55/18. Tiresize.com says their diameter is 28.1 inches
I have snow tires that are 235/60/18. Tiresize.com says they are 29.1 inches.
So a little less than 1/2" higher on top. Looks to me that in front that's not a problem but on back I'm not as sure.
I know nothing about mods like spacers?
I posted this question on the tire and wheel forum but have not any any replies.
thank you

It’s going to be close to the rear strut spring perch, but you can still probably get away with it. 235/65R18 with some all-season Michelins rubbed for me.
They came with the 2020 RX350 rims I picked up, and I was hoping I could ride them out until replacement. They do clear my 2002 Highlander though, which means the strut perch is ever so slightly higher on 01-03 Highlander and 99-03 RX.
Also, FWDs will have a slightly higher spring perch in the back, so that will give you some leeway as well. I have an AWD.

That height will fit, but it'll be tight it if your going w/ the oem wheels which have a 35mm offset which work great w/ the oem 235 size. I'm not a spacer fanboy......I'd be looking for a 8.5-9'' w/ a 20mm offset...Clears & fits w/ no issues.

It'll be fine, that isn't a huge leap. A 5mm "oversize" isn't a stretch in either aspect (width or height) and will in 99% of cases still clear with OEM wheel on any make/model. There's a tolerance for sure though.
When I tried ~2012 Highlander 19s, with 245-55-19 rubber, it didn't clear the rear strut, which I anticipated to happen as its a substantial change in size.

I have been running 235/60/18 on my 07 RX since 2018 (maybe 2017) and don't have any problems with anything rubbing.
When on a road trip back in 2016, I noticed that my car speedometer and the gps speeds did not agree. The car speedo was slower. I had to have the speedo showing 72 for the gps to indicate 70. I did some calculations and decided I needed a tire that was 2.5% bigger. Then I saw that on the 3rd gen RX (2010+) the standard tire size was 235/60/18. I got the 235/60/18 and now my speedo and gps agree.

The same size tire and diameter should be used at All 4 corners. If it's AWD the different diameters tires will cause Damage to the AWD system and the Differentials.
It's Not a Clearance thing, there is enough clearance. A 60 series tire is only slightly Taller and slightly Narrower than a 55 series tire. The difference in tire diameters will also cause Speedometer/Odometer Errors.
A larger diameter tire (60 series) will cause the Speedometer to read lower than the actual speed you are going. Depending on the diameter difference, this can be up to 5%-15% speedometer error. The Cruise Control will not be Accurate either.
The speedometer error will affect the MPG calculations as Well, as the Odometer will read less miles than actually driven.
Also, trying to Rotate different size tires is difficult. All in All, stick with the OEM Reccomended Size.
I Hope this Helps.
