Hey guys, So I busted the left side driver mirror on my 2005 rx350, I see mirrors without memory online but with that being said can I mod the mirror to have memory or is this not possible.

Hi nocos300, I see this is your first post, so welcome to Club Lexus!

Upgrading to memory is not possible, rephrase not worth it.
Don't quote me cuz I'm going off memory of the schematic but the memory option requires changing some body electric components(switches), wiring harnes in the dash, the driver door ecu and possibly the body ecu.

I'd say leave it alone for now and go for the standard mirror. lol
I went aftermarket in Black unpainted and bought them as a pair and they look great.
Always planned on having them painted but now I won't bother cuz I got used to it and it looks ok to me.

PS- before ordering any mirror, plz pull the inside door cover off and take a pic of the mirror connector to make sure you get the right one. Also, if you have heated mirrors and that is important to you make sure you get that too.
