Camber Adjustment maxed out?
So my 2004 RX330 is having alignment and the auto shop is saying he is maxed out on the camber adjustment and it’s still out of alignment. The only way he can align it is by adding a camber kit.
Any ideas why this is like this? I did replace the front end struts and the driver side sway bar link myself a couple years ago. Could I have caused this problem?

They make OEM camber bolts for our cars front & rear, but the stock front ones still have 0.9mm of adjustment. I wouldn't bother with aftermarket, they're more expensive and not as durable. If you replaced the struts, you can adjust the camber by loosening the bolts and pushing inward for more negative camber or outward for positive. I had an issue with a shop not believing that the camber was adjustable F&R, until I showed them the camber bolts on the struts and how they worked, because they don't look like camber bolts from the outside, however the shank's size is slightly smaller which allows for adjustment within the knuckle.

^ Part numbers here. Your alignment shop should have an idea of which bolts you need, but I don't think you'd need the 3-dots

Sounds like you need to find another shop that knows what they're doing.....I ran into that awhile ago, redid the alignment today at another shop, -1.0-1.1 camber for the front w/ a tad bit more caster w/ the toe set at 0 for the front....... .06-.10 positive toe for the rear. The least amount of thrust angle as well as the s/w being straight......Make sure you have good tires & the pressures are set.
