OK to drive with all TPMS sensors went out?
Hi,
My 2007 RX350 had gotten new tires over the years, and, I am not sure if the tire shop I had gone to are honest or bad folks, but, all my TPMS sensors have gone out. The tire pressure light blinks for a long time every time I start my care. I don't know if they swapped them or if all the TPMS sensors all ran out of their internal batteries all at the same time. It could be, since the car has 127K miles and is 15 years old.
I have made sure that the tire pressures for all the tires always are at the recommended 32 PSI. Is it OK to drive with the TPMS sensors dead? Will that affect gas mileage in any way?
Thank you!

TPMS batteries vary in longevity. Ten years in my 07 Tacoma and thirteen years in 07 ES350. The spare also has a sensor, thus, don't forget to check air pressure on it also. The low light does not affect performance directly, you simply wont know when the air pressure drops in a tire.

Have to manually check them periodically to make sure is good psi pressure.
