Finally sold my 2008 Rx 350 with about 247k miles. It was a great run. Purchased new in October 2007 so lasted more than 15 years. Did minor stuff on it such as oil cooler line, radiator, spark plugs, and struts/strut mounts. The issue was now the suspension. The quotes to put brand new suspension such as ball joints/bushings/control arms was going to cost a pretty penny. Also the 2 front door actuators were not working which was getting to be annoying. Online it appears to be a 30 minute job, but nobody actually wants to charge less than 350 each. Of course there was also the timing cover leak which was diagnosed more than 5 years ago and may or may not get worse. In addition, the dash had severe cracks on it. I took it to longo lexus in socal when the cracks were minor and they told me it didnt qualify for a new dash. When I went back 2 years later for the new dash, they said I was passed the 10 year mark. Also leather in front had some cracking. All in all, the vehicle will probably be good up to 350k miles, but it just needed a huge suspension overhaul and interior looked bad. It needed a detail and headlight restoration which was going to run me another $300 and needed 4 new tires. I ended up selling it and getting a 2019 highlander with 22k miles so I'll probably have this car next 15 years. If your looking for an upgrade on your old lexus and want a similar drive as the lexus rx 350, I recommend the 2019 model year highlander. Also, a 2019 Rx 350 length is 192.5 inches. Same length as a 2019 highlander which is also 192.5 inches. So in my opinion the drives are simliar. Good luck to all in surpassing me and reaching 300k miles on your Rx's and may the new owner take care of my old ride.

Good run indeed. Hopefully the ‘19 Highlander serves you well! I heard they have fixed the TC leak after around 2018 (at least on Tacoma, which also has 2GR-FKS engine).

I recently inherited a 2009 RX350, silver with gray leather interior. It has just turned over around 200,000 miles on it. It drives great, has lots of power and I Love the look of the 2nd gen. I also have a 1st gen RX300 that was a gift from my Dad a few years ago. It had over 300,000 miles on it when the engine gave it up, I had a newer engine installed in it and have still been enjoying that one.
