Amplifier replacement

Hi all, how many channels amplifier I need to replace the ML amp on my Rx400h 2008 ? Is a 2 channel amp or 4 channel amp ?

Good question. It has a left channel in and a right in.

But it has 7 channels out for the different speakers, like a surround system of sorts.
