2007 Lexus RX350 Fog Light Dashlight
Hi all,
Does anyone know if the 2007 RX350 has a fog light indicator on the dashboard? When I turn my fog lights on, I don't see an icon for it on the dashboard even though the fog lights are on. I was wondering if I had a burned light bulb on the dashboard or if Lexus simply shat the bed on this one.
Edit: Also wondering if the power mirror and power tailgate door buttons illuminate at night. Mine don't and was wondering if the small light bulbs in those are burned.

No indicator for the fogs, I have the wiring for the gauge cluster and there isn't a reference to it either. These clusters also use LED PLCC-2 style SMD chips, as well as my '02 Highlander and probably most Toyotas. Real fun having to de-solder / re-solder the new SMDs in but it was a great experience!
The power mirror buttons are unfortunately not illuminated on any 04-09 RX, the power tailgate button however is supposed to be backlit. It uses a single 12v neo wedge T3 bulb. If you want to convert it to LED, I would not buy the pre-made assemblies as they are China garbage and will not fit properly. I just make my own using 12v 3mm LED bulbs and wrap the leads around the stock bulb base after unraveling and removing the old bulb. It can also be remade using incadescent bulbs by using a 3mm "grain of wheat" bulb.

Thanks @MattRX for the thorough and valuable answer, I didn't expect anything less.... seriously, respect bro.
Oh well.. I'm really surprised Toyota went out of their way and omitted the fog light indicator on those RX's while every other Toyota/Lexus car from that era had it.
