Hi,
Does the 05 RX330 have a low oil level warning of any kind (aside from checking the dipstick?) and I'm not talking about an oil pressure warning. My sister's RX330 has a couple of oil leaks (according to service shop, valve cover and oil pan) and I don't know that she cares enough (although she should) to regularly check the oil. Thanks in advance.

Yes the RX has an oil light indicator. It could mean low oil level or insufficient oil pressure detected. This is a vital indicator, hence if seen must initiate a check on the oil level.

Its really easy to fiigure out, make sure theres enough oil in it or she's walking or on the bus. (Does she have her walking shoes on?) basic maintence, oil/filter changes, ect. prevents rods exiting the block from lack of oil & then whats she going to do when the rod bearing are gone thanx to lack of oil?
