Default Looking to buy RX 450h or 350

Hey y'all! I'm looking to replace my wife's 2010 Prius with a better ride. Been going down the rabbit hole of what to replace it with and I think I've landed on the 3rd gen RX 450h. I've set myself a top end budget of $20k, but the deal hunter in me wants to be well under that so I can put my money to better use. Of course, if I buy the wrong car, it could end up costing me a lot more in the long run. We typically put on about 100k-150k miles before looking to get another car.

That being said, I recently found this listing for a 2010 RX 450h for about $14k. Has 139k miles on it. From the pictures, it looks like the screen might be yellowing, which I can probably handle replacing myself (might even add in a VLine or similar system to get Android Auto while I'm at it). The service history from Lexus (attached) gives be a bit of confidence that it was regularly maintained. While there are some larger gaps, notes mention going to at least one other mechanic (who tried to sell them on transmission fluid).

Any thoughts on the listing above? Any recommendations on specific things to look for?

I'm also open to suggestions. I'm basically looking for an SUV/Crossover that has a quiet interior and comfortable ride that will last another 100k-150k if properly maintained. My main concern is how much longer can this car go before needing the hybrid battery replaced and if the cost is worth it.

Great service history, front LCA’s replaced and spark plugs done , good stuff.

Known service history like this is definitely worth a premium.

Nice vehicle. I assume you know as it appears you went to the Lexus Drivers Site where you can join and enter the VIN of any Lexus to see the dealer service history and build sheet. If not: https://www.lexus.com/drivers/account/create-account

I always use it when used Lexus or Toyota shopping (Toyota has the same thing). You may also want to consider a 2014 or newer hybrid Highlander as that is the generation that adopted the RX350/450h rear suspension and it may have more tech and better infotainment etc etc.

FYI replacing the transmission fluid on this hybrid is as easy as changing the engine oil. Drain it and then fill it up until the fill plug overflows then you are done. It holds about 4 quarts of Toyota WS ATF. What it has is nothing like an automatic transmission, Toyota calls it a power transfer unit and it has no gears or clutch packs. You can change the fluid on it anytime with no ill effects. Every 50,000 or so would be my recommendation.

Thanks. My confidence was certainly boosted having the service history. Lexus's website is a godsend as are you all for sharing all this wonderful info to help people like me make good decisions.
