Anyone have an idea what the flat black tab is next to the USB port in the arm rest?


My stick jostles around and loses connection, so I was going to electrical tape to that thing to keep it in place, but wasn't sure if it had a function.

 

It’s just a cover for the ports to keep them free from debris when they’re not in use.
