Still have clicking sound after steering column replacement
I need help. I have a 2013 Lexus 450 hybrid, with 135,000 miles. Last September I had four new tires put on my vehicle at the dealership. immediately after picking up my SUV I started hearing a clicking sounds coming from the front-end of my vehicle. I thought it was from the new tires and just continued to drive. A couple of weeks ago I took my vehicle in for service and told my service advisor about the continuous clicking sound. After inspection of the vehicle, they told me that the clicking sound that I was hearing was coming from my steering column and not the front of the vehicle. They recommended that I needed to have my entire steering column off my SUV replaced. However, even after replacing the steering column, one day after picking up my vehicle the clicking sound returned.. The clicking sound only appears when I am driving at a slow rate of speed or when I’m breaking. I’m not sure what the problem is that is causing this clicking sound but apparently neither do my Lexus dealership.
Any suggestions?

Dang. How much was that steering column replacement? I find it odd the shop would give the car back to you if the sound is still there. Is it a Lexus Service Center?
