So I've seen a TON of these on the road and I've come to notice mine is the only one I've seen with the projectors on the inside...
Could it be because it's a canadian model (I'm in the US)???
They're starting to oxidize and I'd like to replace them but all I see is projector on the outside lights. Can I just swap the plugs?
The 2010-2012 models with HID low bean headlights have the projectors style lenses in the inside of the headlight housing. The non-HID model have the projectors on the outside of the headlight housing. Most older RX350 models purchased do not have the HID upgrade option; hence why you do not see them much on the road.
To my understanding the two style of headlights used two different type of electrical connector plugs.
