Good day, gents,
Have you guys experienced your Rx alarm going off randomly? Yesterday, I was alerted that my alarm was going off in the parking garage. The car was not physically disturbed to set off the alarm possibly. After heading to the garage and unlocking the door to stop the alarm, I noticed my hazards started flashing without reason. The lights on the windows control center were also flickering. Also, the auto headlights on the dash began flickering. This behavior continued for a few minutes. I decided not to arm the alarm and just lock the door since I did not want to drain my battery.
After getting home, the alarm did not go off again after arming, nor did it go off at night.
Both the battery and alternator were replaced a few months ago.
I have no dash warnings.
Possible causes after researching:
Hood switch
A low battery or voltage-related issues
Fuse related
Check for water getting into the car
Check for rodents under the hood getting to the wire
Body Control Module Symptoms of failure
The vehicle is a 2013 F Sport, by the way.
Also, I have noticed my comfort access beeps twice when closing the door, but when using the fob, there is one beep. I never paid attention until now. Should the comfort access beep once for locking as well?

Batteries can begin to fail at any time, especially if there happens to be a bad cell in them. First things first -- check your battery voltage with the ignition off, and again with the engine running.
