2010 Rx350 Hatch handle does not work automatically…key fob and inside button are ok
I’ve only had this a couple months. The rear hatch works fine with inside dash button and the key fob. But if I try to use the tailgate handle/switch I must pull the gate up manually. What do I need to replace/fix?

Apparently this is normal but the dealer may be able to adjust it to lift itself when you push the button on the hatch. See this thread:

I'd like to share my story and maybe get some advice for my 2013 RX 350...
Rear hatch never worked well since the day I picked it up last year. Replaced the rear struts, but still beeps and tries to open, then "stutters" when I go to open manually.
Unless... when parked out in the hot sun for a while, everything works 100% great.
Hmmmm. Thanks in advance.

RX, I had not considered that. I got the QiMox (not sure of model) from Amazon. But wait, same issue when hitting the rear button while the hatch is up and I want to close it; just beeps and sits there - most of the time.

I believe that StrongArm makes some of the best aftermarket hood and hatch struts available (more robust and longer-lasting than OEM). I have been 100% happy with the StrongArm pairs I have installed in a couple of different vehicles during the past 4 or 5 years.

just stopped working. glovebox switch is on. key fob, panel button, manual door button does not work. the only thing i've noticed is that i get a long beep on the activation and that is it.
