How many miles were on your RX 350 before it got totaled?

True! My statement is more applicable on the truck drive who backed out. For a while I had older vehicles without sensors and newer ones with sensor. I had to check myself and not count on the warning beeps.

It's still always a good skill to rely on active checking though rather than relying on the tech. The tech should enhance the safety, but not as a substitute. Hence I wish there's an option to mute the audible sensors and I always disable those parking assist and LTA/LCA.

Recently drove someone's car with 'tech', the lane incursion warning.
Went a couple hundred miles before I figured how to turn it off.
On a two lane road I tend to favor the right with oncoming traffic.
The damn thing was beeping at me every half mile driving me crazy.

My last wreck was 51 years ago and 40 years for my last ticket.
I get 60k out of tires and 80k out of brakes.
My 34 year old jeep has the original clutch.
I kinda know how to drive but, my 'tech score' says different.

^^ I hear you loud and clear. One big reason I enjoy driving my 1999 Ram is because it was built back in the days before vehicles essentially became rolling computers.
