Default Sticking button for up temperature drivers side.

The button for up temperature on the drivers side sticks on occasion. Should I spray a tiny bit of wd40 on it?

I have a 2015 RX350 F Sport and love everything about it.

Definitely not WD40. I would start with a soft brush to go around the button, followed by compressed air.

After making sure I would try a bit of electrical contact cleaner ... make sure it does not mar the button+silk-screen.

How crazy would a dusting of graphite powder be?

Graphite may make it worse. You want to clean it up and remove corrosion & dirt, not use a lock lubricant that is black and may gum up the electrical connection.
Follow Salim's recommendations as outlined above.
Get a can of compressed air as used to clean keyboards etc.

Powdered graphite would indeed make a mess. Save it for your locks and ignition cylinders.

Compressed air is a good start. So is a quick squirt of electrical contact cleaner spray. Just be prepared to quickly wipe off any excess.

Just piling on ..
Graphite is a conductor too so switches and graphite do not mix.
