2013-2015 RX350 gauge cluster removal
Hello Everyone, I'm a a newbie, I just purchased last week a 2013 RX350 F Sports from a private seller, and as usual when you first see the car the scratches arent visible to the blind eye, specially when you're drooling over the vehicle, well I failed to notice various scratches on the fenders and hood, nothing I can't fix but the main issue Im having a really hard time with is the ugly scratches on my gauge cluster clear plastic and the navigation clear plastic are now more visible and jumping at my OCD eyes everytime I drive the vehicle. I have searched everywhere to no avail for the instructions of how to remove the gauge cluster and the navigation screen either to:
1. Replace the clear pieces on both or
2. Try to remove the scratches with plastix scrat remover.
Any help would be appreciated because I don't want to break any parts nor scratch the beautiful finish of the interior ( besides those two ugly things ) .

What I would do is consult with a few local car detailers about removing the scratches from the gauge clusters. Estimates are free.
Those guys have professional techniques that we have no awareness of that may work on that issue. It may not cost that much money and it would be done properly.
I doubt you will be able to replace the screens if you remove the clusters It may be extremely labor intensive to perform this project, also the screen is likely integrated with the gauge clusters.
You need to check with some online Lexus parts dealers to view the detailed parts drawings to determine if they are a separate part number.

Thank you I appreciate the feedback, my issue is that I do t have any local reliable or reputable shops around that can perform this task and the closet thing would be Chicago which is like 2.5 hours away. I will check Lexus parts and see if the screen is so etching that is sold separately or I could find a used but in good shape cluster and navigation cover on eBay, the only thing left is the how to remove both things from the vehicle.
UPDATE!
I checked Lexuspartsnow.com and infact looks like they do sell the I guess it's called " glass combination meter" price is affordable, now the only thing I have to do is figure out how to remove it. I will order the part today.

Do some searching on this forum and youtube for remove gauges or remove gauge cluster.
Also the exploded parts drawings at Lexus Parts Now will help you figure out how it all fits together.
This is for another Lexus model, but I think the general principles may apply to the RX.
This may also help.
