my driver side visor is kind of broken where it goes into the holder clasp on the car. I got my car serviced today and asked them about if it can be fixed or what. He said it would require a whole new visor. He then was to contact the parts department and get me a price, which they never did. Has anyone ever replaced a visor in the car? Is it worth it? Is it hard to do if I should order it on my own and try to install? Thank you in advance.

There are a lot of used ones and new ones on eBay. Just search for 2010-2015 Lexus RX350 Sun Visor.

First try to determine what is wrong.

Is the problem with the receiver clasp [the portion fixed to the headliner] or the flap [visor] portion? I assume you have no issues with the pivot/rotation action ... base of the visor. Is it an adjustment issue? etc.

Once you know which part is bad, visit the parts department with your vin number and they will pull out body-parts -> interior diagram and should be able to order the part for you. Problem with dealer parts is the price as well as at times they sell a whole assembly, but the shipping is free. You are not bound to order and can simply that you but no thank you. You can visit salvage yards and the cheapest would be pull a part yard. You can lookup inventory of vehicles [at least I can check local LKQ].

The problem is on the visor flap the knobby thing that snaps into the connector on the car. It has some kind of like a rubber band, elastic material, and that bead attach the elastic that snaps into the hook on the car has come stretched out and it doesn’t hang as properly. That’s the best way I can describe it
