I just purchased a used 2011 RX 350. This is my 3rd Lexus and I currently own a 2015 RX 350. I'm having 2 problems:

1st problem: I can not download my contacts from my iPhone 11 Pro Max IOS version 16.7 to the Lexus, I do not have navigation. I've tried everything the owner's manual suggested and even contacted Lexus directly. Lexus just responded "refer to page 32 of your owners manual". When my iPhone connects to the vehicle, I don't see the option "Sync Contacts" as I do with my 2015 RX 350.

2nd problem: I can not connect my 2011 RX 350 to my garage door opener. My garage door opener was new in 2020. I followed the owner's manual and nothing. I had no issue linking my 2015 RX 350 with the current garage opener.

I think part of the problem is due to the fact that the vehicle operates on 3G and there no longer is 3G anywhere. Someone younger with more iphone savy will have to help on the contacts issue if there is more involved. I do recall that the vehicle has 2 ways to connect your phone, one for calls and one for music.

Regarding the garage door opener. Did you erase all the old codes?

See the linked thread below. You may have to get an additional component to translate your garage signal into something your car can read or vice versa. I forget the details. Just read it.
