Faint grinding. Bearing or too much play...

When coasting at idle I am now hearing a faint grinding noise on driver's side front. I assume it's the bearing... But when taking tire off and realizing I had nothing with me but an easy to bend screwdriver to loosen brakes, I started checking to see if there was any play in the axle. Everything is solid at the wheel. But the axle going I to tranny seems excessive. Took a vid. Please check it out. If the play is normal then I'm just going to buy the bearing.
Grinding is in same spot 'in rotation'. If that makes sense. I'd say 20% of rotation is grinding. Vid is not of noise. Due to brake brake pressure on rotor I could barely hear the grinding. So couldn't narrow it down.
If I end up replacing bearing... I reckon I should replace the other side at same time? Final parts... Got two OEM mounts for a hundred bucks on eBay!...just came in today. So have t done suspension yet.
edit: with wheel on there is zero play when checking bearing
Thanks.

Grinding has nothing to do with that axle play. How many miles on your car?

A worn wheel bearing is more likely than a bad axle. Especially if your axle boots are intact.
Worn wheel bearings are a known issue on this Toyota/Lexus chassis and I bet you have enough miles to have worn them out. You probably need a pro to check it out.

Apologies for not getting back sooner. Neighbor, that lets me use their nice flat concrete carport to work on car, got 'boosted' two weeks ago and now needs my help to pick him up to put in/out of a wheelchair several times a day... that he never needed until three days ago. It's the saddest thing I have ever seen. Anywho. 170k'ish miles. If bearing is normal to replace on this car, I'll just replace them when I replace the shocks/struts. I assume Timken will be the best option.
thx again and srry for the delay.

Often the entire hub is easier to replace than the bearing. Compare pricing and the aggravation of pressing the bearing in and out.
