1 headlight goes out while driving. Half the time it’s the left, half the time right.

Hi! I have been having issues seeing at night and I realized when parked in front of a glass window that one of my headlights was off.
when I start my car BOTH headlights are ON, however after 1 minute either the left or the right headlight shuts off. This happens on either auto or manual mode. I can turn both headlights back on by turning my lights on and back on, but after 1 minute one of the lights goes off again. Please see images above.
this is obviously unsafe and difficult to see at night. I have seen suggestions to swap the bulbs to see if the problem happens still, but it’s difficult to say since the original issue happens to both bulbs. I also figure it’s unlikely both ballasts have gone bad at the same time?
what can I do to fix this issue? Thanks!

Welcome to CL. When asking for help you need to tell us the year and mileage on your vehicle as it helps with the diagnosis.
I suspect the stalk switch is worn out. If not the stalk, then the headlight relay. Look at the fuse box under the hood, the guide under the cover should help identify it. There may be another similar relay used elsewhere that you can swap.
Another member had a headlight issue where the low beams would not work and the stalk was suspected. The 1st link below discusses that and the 2nd links to how to replace the stalk, which involves removing the steering wheel.
