I goofed and hit something that knocked my passenger side mirror out of the housing. And I am having a time trying to snap it back in. I watched videos that just show the mirror being inserted at the top of the housing, and then snapped in. I’ve spent the better part of an hour trying to put mine in.

I’ve included pictures. Can someone tell me if it’s damaged and that’s why it won’t go in? Or maybe refer me to a video?

The 4 diagonal positioned clips need to mate with the 4 diagonal white nylon slots. Check if the mating surfaces are deformed or something is preventing the to mate.
