Hey guys/gals! New member via my wife.
Her IS250 got totaled. Snagged her a 2010 couple days ago…
I checked through previous info on here but most of it is pretty antiquated at this point.
Issue is this: Anybody run into a problem where your iPhone won’t play music direct using the USB/aux cable?
Weird thing is - it only happens with HER phone. And we have the same exact phone (iPhone 13 pro).
Works fine with my iphone and on my old iPhone 8 and my super old original iPhone SE.
I’m thinking she has something wonked up settings wise on her phone.
Anyone else have this happen or know a fix….??

Yup. First thing I tried.
No bueno. All my other devices plug and play just fine. I’m guessing something is set weird on her phone. I’ve no idea.

A friend of mine just complained of Iphone issues after the latest update.

Ya. I don’t know man. Wife and I both have same exact phone. Running same OS. I plug mine into USB/AUX cord and boom music. Plug hers in - nothing. It charges but plays no music. Bout to give up.

One of the links I posted talks about making sure the car recognizes the different phones as separate entities.

Is that necessary if I’m just doing USB/AUX to play music? Not doing Bluetooth.

I don't know but was trying to think of other possibilities for this issue.
