Hello CL crew, I'm new here so if the question has been answered previous, apologies. My search didn't turn anything up.
I've got an aftermarket sub to install and I want to just take the wire off the back of the existing sub speaker as I'll tap the wires going into it for a line level signal.
Any tips on getting that side panel off?

Welcome to CL, however based on my search using the term subwoofer which found many threads with the answer you seek, I wonder if you did a proper search.
Use the right side search box, the second one down, (not the top one) type in subwoofer and hit GO.
You will learn much about installing a sub in your RX. Good luck!

Have you ever taken apart a car interior? You need a set of plastic trim removal tools. Try Amazon or Harbor Freight.

Thanks for the answers. I'm now on to it. I figured out a way that makes sense. I tapped the wiring going into the oem sub and unplugged it and now it feeds my loc and we're all good.
