Chrome wheels are NEVER an upgrade. The chrome overlay eventually begins to flake and peel, causing bead problems and allowing air to begin leaking. Ask me how I know....

The offset of those wheels is 58 mm and will not work with the RX which as a 35 - 40 mm offset. The LX is built on a different platform that is not compatible..
Wrong tire size and I agree that Chrome is a terrible wheel choice as it falls apart and they weigh much more than normal wheels.

However, wheels from the following Lexus and Toyota models that are built on the same chassis platform as the RX will fit perfectly: ES350, NX, Camry, Avalon, Highlander, Sienna. There are many used sets available on eBay or Craigslist or Marketplace.

Default 2012 Lexus RX350 wheel upgrade

Thanks for the info everyone!
My old 1999 Lexus ES300 had beautiful factory chrome wheels but after several years later they did develop air leaks around the tire bead.

The tire store dismounted the tire(s) and wire brushed the bead but that never lasted very long either,

i eventually put tubes in several of the tires in order to eliminate the air leaks.

I would avoid the chrome wheels due to possible corrosion that will cause the plating to peel under the tire bead and the wheels may start to leak if not already. Many modern OEM wheels uses a chrome like PVD finish that does not peel away like chrome. I am not sure if the Lexus LX470 wheels are chrome or PVD finished.

I have an older set of aftermarket chrome wheels in my basement that developed the leak problem due to peeling chrome under the bead. I thought it was the tires, but it was the wheels according to the tire shop many many years ago. I just removed them and planned on having the chrome stripped under the bead and the bead area painted but never go around to it since I sold the car they were on before it could happen. Now I am just storing the chrome wheels.
