I know there’s a lot of interest in adding Apple CarPlay capability (or Android auto) so thought I would post about this. I just purchased the following product from Amazon, installed it last night and so far I’m very impressed -

I was a bit sceptical at first given the price but it seems to work as advertised. It’s not quite like having CarPlay on the OEM system but for the money it’s close. My only complaint so far is that it’s a bit of a stretch to reach it mounted up on the dash above the factory display.
