RX350 years 2010 vs 2011
I own the RX 350 2011 model and am curious of what changes were implemented over the 2010 model RX350 which seems to be the more popular year for the RX350. Does anyone have that experience and can detail the differences?

Why do you say 2010 is more popular? 2010 was the first year for this redesign. It was their best selling vehicle for many years.
The only change I recall for 2011 was adding a USB port at the lower center console hole area between the seats to make it easier to charge your phone. The 2010 only had one inside the center console armrest area which was difficult to access. 2012 Is not much different.
2013 is when Lexus gave it mild refresh and updated a few things.
I found this information elsewhere online: In my opinion Lexus did this change due to accidents and lawsuits that were claimed to be caused by unwanted acceleration which was almost always due to the driver confusing the gas and brake pedals: Most of these were in the ES350.
Like all Lexus vehicles, the 2011 Lexus RX adds Smart Stop Technology, which automatically reduces engine power when the brake and accelerator pedals are applied simultaneously under certain driving conditions. Aside from some new paint colors, there are no other changes for 2011.
With a used car a good maintenance history and a thorough pre-purchase inspection are the most important things, along with a clean CarFax.

My saying that the 2010 may be more popular is not to suggest it is superior to the 2011 but that it is my experience that there are more of that year’s model around.

I cannot tell the difference between those model years when seeing them on the road. They look the same to me.
According to GoodCarBadCar, the 2010 Lexus RX sold 95,790 units.
According to GoodCarBadCar, Lexus sold 82,595 RX models in 2011. In September 2011, Lexus reported that SUV sales were down 30.4% compared to the previous year, while car sales were up 8.9%.
