Default RX350 front passenger door will not open

My wife's 2011 RX350's front passenger door will not open using either the inside or outside handle. When I pull on either, there is no resistance when compared to the other doors that are working fine. I assume a cable or the plastic cable-holder has broken. Is there a way to get this door open without tearing up the interior panel? Thanks!

Try finding a local auto-lock smith who may have special tools to jimmy the door release.

Next would be body shops.

You may also like to look for replacing the whole inside panel from a salvage yard .. hopefully local so save on shipping.

Very odd, as the outside handle operates the catch with a rod, and the inside handle operates the catch by a cable.
The catch has failed completely????
The only thing that comes to my mind on how to access it is to remove the front seat, slide it rearwards, and that should give room to remove the inner door panel and find out what gone wrong.
