Low Tire Pressure Light Comes on at High Speeds
I've got a 2014 RX350, and ever since I had my tires rotated and balanced a few months ago, my low tire pressure light comes on after about 30 minutes of interstate driving. It then remains on at higher speeds but turns off as soon as I get off the interstate and drive at slower speeds. The tire pressure is fine every time I check it. When I did a Google search, I couldn't find anything about anyone having the same issue. Any insight?

My guess is that you have one or more flaky TPMS sensors. Their batteries are typically good for 8 years or so but will sometimes last a few years longer. If you still have your factory sensors, their batteries are probably dying and giving you spurious intermittent warnings as a result.

A tire shop can scan each wheel sensor and possibly identify the wonky sensor.
I have a similar problem on my 2016 Sienna. The TPMS will sometimes turn on while on the highway, I used to panic, take the next exit and the tires are always fine. It then does not do this again for months. It does not matter if it is winter or summer. I have yet to get it scanned, I will just live with it until it gets worse, but over 2 years it has not changed. When it turns on now, I just check the tires when I get to my destination, but always carry a tire plug kit and portable tire inflator.

Not sure if this feature is available in all models, but I can display all 4 tire pressure [although I cant tell for sure which pressure belongs to which tire].
I did notice that display info from all 4 was not instant and for a failing sensor [low internal battery] it took longer and longer to update till it finally quit. Other than the pressure warning light, I would get a display message stating something like "failed to establish communication with sensor". This was proof positive from me that the sensor battery has gone bad.

It is not on all models. The 2010 RX and 2016 Sienna only tell you if some random tire may be low. The 2011 HS lets you see individual tire pressures. So 2011 appears to be the year Lexus upgraded the TPMS software etc.

I appreciate the responses. My suspicion was that it was a wonky sensor, but wanted to double check and make sure it wasn't something more serious. Like you mentioned, the first few times it popped up while I was going 75, I immediately took the next exit to check the pressure. I'll have them check the sensors next time I'm at the shop. Thanks again!

What's a 2011 HS? I would love it if my 2011 RX would tell me individual pressures and I didn't even know it!

Many years ago ['80s], I bought an air compressor to inflate tires at home. I have been in the habit of checking air pressure once a month and once in 6months inflate the spare. Later as the TPMS equipped vehicles, I still follow the ritual. The TPMS warning prevented me from driving on a flat tire. The second time was bad battery in the tire sensor.
The tire pressure displayed has one distinct advantage for old timer like me is that I can skip the once a month ritual of checking the pressure [now it is need based and typically as seasons change].

I check all of our tire pressures every weekend (along with all fluids) with my trusty digital gauge. I picked up that habit in the mid-1970s back when I did a ton of driving and just stayed with it. I don't need no stinkin' TPMS....

The Lexus HS250h was imported from Japan for 3 model years 2010-2012 but never sold well and was then abandoned in the US in favor of selling a hybrid version of the ES350. It has the Camry hybrid engine & drivetrain but is built on some Japanese Toyota platform. It is about the size of a Corolla. We use it to commute to work. I got it used in 2012 with 22,000 miles. With 105,000 miles currently it still runs great but does not get the advertised mileage. They only sold about 20,000 in the US.

If I had the individual pressures display option, what menu buttons would I mash to view them?
TPMS is very common in Canada, but it isn't mandated like in the US. My vehicle definitely has TPMS, but I've only ever seen the dummy light and don't think I have the individual pressure display option, but I sure would like to know if I do.
*After only 11 years of ownership... LoL!

On the HS250h I use the toggle switch on the steering wheel right side to scroll through various status screens that appear on a small screen between the speedometer and Gas gauge/power meter.
The Sienna works in a similar way using a steering wheel toggle switch. I suspect the later model years 3rd gen RX may work somewhat like that.
