Default 2015 RX450h what to look for buying used ?

Hi Folks,

New member here from IL and in the market for a Lexus. Preferably looking for a hybrid to save some gas. Need some suggestions and opinions on one I came across and looking to buy used at a Mercedes dealer.

- The car is around 87k miles listed at $22k plus taxes, etc.
- 2 owner. 1st owner was a lease I guess and had two fender benders as seen the Carfax screenshot.

- Question: The 2nd owner seems to have take it to an independent auto shop, I see some major stuff done like transmission fluid flushed changed, cooling system checked, fluid changed etc at 54k miles. And then at 68k differently fluid changed/flushed, cooling system serviced?

Any red flags or regular scheduled maintenance? Some Carfax screenshots below.

Overall how reliable are 87k used 10 year old 2015 RX 450h lexuses? Or is it better to skip this and look for RX350s? How much of a gas savings with the 450h vs a 350 of the same age? Thanks much in advance for all the help and suggestions.

I would certainly want to know what type of ATF and coolant that indie shop used during their 3/3/22 service. I would call them and ask. Your risk factor with this vehicle certainly goes up if you cannot find out. No such animal as "universal" ATF or coolant.

I would also ask them about the differential fluids they used during their 5/22/23 service.

Ok EDIT: I called again, and got to speak to the owner Tony of the said service workshop, and he was very kind enough to look up the VIN number of the car and go over the service history. All he could tell was that services were all regular maintenance and nothing broken etc. As for the transmission fluids, and differential fluids, when I asked if it was Toyota brand, the said, no, but he was sure that there were, "original" aftermarket whatever were compatible or recommended for that type of car. Couldn't get any more out of him, as he was simply going over the list of maintenance done at his shop from his records.

The hybrid advantage is if you do stop n go driving. I would recommend traction battery heath/life check at an EV store.

Based on prior accidents I would prefer an alignment check before purchase.
