The navigation will be totally different, as well. So I hear, at least. 10 or 11 inch screen, center-console mounted touch pad controls with tactile feedbck, supposedly very awesome.

Now I'm really suspicious of this information. I call BS on that curb weight number. That will be really dissapointing if it's true.

Wait until you see the production car before making judgements. Judging the car based on spyshots is silly.

Cars always increase in weight for each new model. It's pretty much clockwork. New safety features, new luxury features, just new stuff. It all weighs more. I bet the shift from standard 17" wheels to 18" wheels added 20-30 pounds. It's just all the little stuff. Maybe the new nav system adds another 6-10 pounds. It all adds up quick.
As long as acceleration and gas mileage stay the same or increase a tiny bit, who cares? It's not as if this is a road-hugging sport sedan.

I agree though that as long as engine, acceleration, as well as ride and handling all improve, then it should be fine. If these were to stay the same though it would be dissapointing.
