Kalvano,
I am getting different dates from dealers on the availability of the RX450h, anywhere from early March to May. Do have any information when it will be in the showrooms to test drive.

I've been in contact with my local dealer on the 450h and I am told late June/early July. It seemed pretty sincere and I was told I could put a deposit down now if I wanted to. The June timeline seems pretty common, but after hearing Feb, then March, then April, now June and possibly July who really knows...

So to get back on topic: I wonder if the lease rates, money factors and residuals will come in close to the 2009 Rx's since they are an outgoing model year. If that is the case, the leasing option may not add too much of a premium over the current model year.
I, for one, will be waiting to see what lease options are offered although I'm not expecting much on the new model. One never knows though - the current lease rates on the 09's are 6.85% and I'm sure the residuals are taking a beating with the new model coming out. So I guess we'll see.
I'd appreciate it folks could share any lease conversation they've had if they are planning to get the 2010 out of the gate.
Thanks in advance!
Jay

Money factors will be standard rates, residuals will be high the first year. Around 55%, maybe more.
But standard rates and little to no discount will offset that.
The current 2009 RX is back to standard rates and had the residual drop 5 points due to the new one coming out, so leases aren't that great on it right now.
Leases vary state to state, but I'll be very surprised if, around here, a 2010 lease can even touch a 2009 lease. Probably $100 - $150 a month higher.

Let me make a suggestion on information related to what comes with what packages on these fine vehicles...put down a link indicating what is available or not, even a screen capture from www.lexus.com would help.
For example, I remember very much soon after I got my RX300 that many in my home state of Florida told me it was difficult, but not impossible, to get an AWD RX300 like I have in Florida, it was generally FWD. Many times, dealers wanted to bundle certain packages together and not others and were pushy on wanting you to get the package they were putting out. That's true of any dealership.

Of course that is true, all dealers want to sell you what is on their lot or a car that is in the region. The less work for them to find a car, the more money they make.

So you get a $900 price reduction in the US and we get a $3950 price increase in Canada.![Egads!](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/pat.gif)
If this is the case, I highly doubt that we will be purchasing the new RX! Lexus of Canada better figure out a new plan in a hurry, as I'm sure we're not the only ones who will notice this disparity.
