Coming from the IS, I was already an L-Finesse disciple. To me the best-looking SUV on the road is now dramatically more refined. I love it. The curves and sculpting give it a new and welcome presence. The 3/4 tail view is my favorite part
The straight side view is very strong as well, although these pics don't show it off adequately (the tree sticking out the top breaks it up too much ;p).
I'll start an ownership log today in a new post.

To me the L-Finesse have already ran its course, Lexus cant really do anymore with it, nor should they. Lexus needs to go in another direction as far as exterior design is concerned. All their SUV and sedans are starting to look the same, people cant tell a GS from a IS from far away.

CIPARIS. Was the trailer hitch part of the 47K package from factory or added by dealer? If added, what was the list cost. I'm in SoCal and want a AWD exactly like yours and knowing what yours had packaged as "additional" options would help. I bet it included the remote start, glass break sensor, and what else? We arent seeing AWD units yet in SoCal, so might have to get a dealer to trade for one up north.
Thanks for any info.

Sweet ride! Congrats! The new RX definitely looks better in dark colors. I'm liking it more & more. I still wish they went with colored tails and dual exhausts though! I'm sure they'll do small but noticeable exterior cosmetic changes each year as they've done with the current IS ('07 added the fin antenna, '08 added graphite-finish wheels, etc.)
If I were to buy a new car now, I'd probably lean toward a Venza in white. It looks so hot on TV!

thanks for info. It all adds up. I will probably end up getting a RX equipped exactly like yours. One other question, did your IS have rain sensing wipers. I notice you had rain up in the bay area. Just wondering if you had the Rain sensing wipes before , do you miss them since I see only intermittent wipers in the current 2010 packages.
