Dealer-installed HUD? or HID?
Thoughts? Possible? Crazy?
After seeing them, I kinda want a HUD now :/
I can manage the HID via Xenondepot I think, although I'd still prefer stock. For the HUD, I wonder if the needed connectors are available. I can see where it would have gone if I had it.

i think its nearly impossible. you would have to change your entire dash because of the hole where the projection is displayed through. Im also under the impression that the HUD is so costly, because it gets a totally different windshield where there is a piece of clear laminant in between the glass of the windshield so that the color can be displayed better.

There is a blank (of sorts) where the HUD projector goes. It's the entire piece of plastic up against the windshield that covers the defrost vents and UV sensor that would have to be changed. But you can clearly see the HUD shape in that plastic.
