Default What I paid for 2010 rx and one issue surfaces...

Bought mine at Performance Lexus in Cincy this weekend and paid $1750 under sticker without much negotiation. I am already troubled by wind noise at even low speed coming from forward area of drivers side window...any comments? Otherwise it's great...

We spent wuite a bit of time test driving a new 2010 this weekend and we noticed no unusual wind noise. In fact it was significantly quieter than our 05 at all speeds.

I have test-driven a '10 twice now, and on both occasions, even on the expressway, it seemed much more quiet than my '04.

The '04 and '05 mentioned above as the basis for comparison are 2nd Gen RX cars; the '10 is year one of the 3rd Gen.

I think for the RX350 after '08 they added an acoustic windshield which helps front wind noise. The '10 RX is supposed to be more quieter, so if there is significant wind noise, there is a problem, see dealer.

Mine has very little wind noise; only when hit by gusts do you get a louder sound. Definitely nothing consistent and localized like that. I saw one magazine review that mentioned something similar... some sort of assembly variation, perhaps.

Mine does not have the cross supports on the roof rails.
