I like it more than 09 because it does not look like an 09. If 40%+ of SUVs on the road are RX's (as my dealer told me) than I glad that mine does not look like 40%....

See one in person and sit in one before judging. When the first pictures came out I gagged a little. But in person the "grafted together" interior is awesome. Seriously at the dealership look at the current 400h and then walk over to the new RX350. Can you honestly say you like the old design better? The design every other car company has copied (center stack, twin vents, nav screen center)...

40%+ of all SUV on the road is a RX? Do you always believe what your dealer tells you? I have seen one in the showroom, it was ok, no wow factor. The front is definitely uglier than the 09, the back looks almost the same. The side view how look like a Honda CRV. The exterior overall is a bust. The interior has improve a bit expect for that silver center panel that looks totally out of place. Like I said b 4, I am starting to see a lot of them on the road and the more I see, I less I like it.

Here in SoCal it's probably more than 40%, if referring to the luxury SUV market...as a commentator in the LA Times wrote, the RX is "so ubiquitous it could be L.A.'s fleet car."

I have seen a handful of RX 350's, still quite rare, and they look nice to me, better than the pictures. I find the color makes a big difference.

40% in Cali is understandable, but in the South, its more like 4%.

Just saying word for word what he said. I also assumed he meant luxury SUV's. In the NE its probably true as well. Seriously once you start looking for them, they are everywhere...

Oh, the RX will live on for many years, but I think they just took a turn for the worse with the 2010. Could be the turning point.

I remember I once bought a 84 Honda Prelude. Great car. You would see them everywhere (sound familiar?). Then they changed the design. It got worse and worse..... The competition caught up. And, they disappeared forever.

Here is what I think will happen to the RX, its best sales years have pass. It is like the Ford Taurus from the 90s, they had a good run but one bad design can ruin a car. The next RX will be bigger and Lexus will introduce a new smaller crossover which will top the sales chart for Lexus SUVs.

I am very impressed with the new interior, the design and the gadgets, etc. But I much prefer the exterior design of the second generation RX, looks a lot better imo.

Default Guess we like it. We bought one.

Improved in every way over the previous generation. And just too many older styled RXs on the road. Am not too impressed with the new styling, but we don't buy cars based on style. Wife wanted a small luxo crossover, and this was the best we checked out. The Q5 was second.

Come on berliner, that statment is a little extreme isnt it. According to Lexus, 2% of RX owners are male

It's actually 2.000001% as I'm going to buy one shortly. :-)

Thank God I'm secure in my manhood, and also way too tall for an IS. :-)

Around here, you see a higher percentage of women driving the IS than the RX. If it's not a woman it's a twenty something guy. I guess that's because it's the lowest priced Lexus. There seems to be an even split with the RX.

Then why are you in the RX section?

And for what it's worth, I buy my own d*mn car. My husband buys his own.
