hi Lexus owners. Recently brought home the new RX. Does anyone know if the floor mats that are in the 2008 or 2009 models will fit the 2010 model? I am considering buying the Lexus all weather floor mats for front and back seating area. Might even spring for the cargo area too. I'm thinking that I can pick up new earlier model mats at a less cost than the 2010.

well the cargo will definately be different because of the new suspension in the 2010 which removes those strut towers in the 2nd gens. regarding the floor mats in the front and rear, it is possible that they do infact fit, but i wouldnt take a chance. hopefully someone will know for sure

I have the all weather mats for 2004 RX and they do fit very well into the front and rear 2010 RX floor wells. The carpet hooks dont reach the holes though. they moved the hold down hooks in the 2010. But the rubber mats stay very firmly in place. I dont see any need to get the new all weat. mats if you already have a similar color set from a 2nd gen RX. I considered it until I got my new RX, and they fit well even over the existing carpeted mats. Cant comment on color match, but size is very close. I'd like to hear a second opinion from others on using the old RX mats in the new RX.

My 2010 RX has black carpet mats/ black interior and did come with properly affixed black carpet hooks.

Did your 2010 carpet mats come with floor hooks? Mine didn't and the holes don't seem to match up either. I'm wondering if I was given the wrong mats.

Mine came with the hooks and black mats while the interior was light gray. The black mats look great and will not show the dirt as much. The mat is back was the matching gray color.

Our std black mats in the 2010 with gray interior have hooks in the front and nothing in the back.

yes, I have black leather interior with the carpeted black lexus floor mats with the hole that connects to the floor hooks perfectly.

so, are we saying that the 2nd gen RX model all weather floor mats would fit the 2010 ? also, do those all weat mats have hook holes in them too?

I was looking at the all weather matts and there seems to be some pretty darn good deals on e-bay compared to from a lexus dealer directly. There are options for grey rubber, clear, tan, brown and black matts for the new RX unofficial and official.

Once I take delivery of my RX later this week I will be probably picking up some from ebay.

just search 2010 RX350 and floor matts are pretty much all that show up.

Congrats on your new RX. what colors did you get? I got smokey granite ex and black in.. killer colors to me.. the wood grain against the black interior looks awesome.

Starfire Pearl and Grey interior. Its our 3rd straight Starfire pearl in the family (Mom has LS460L and Dad has GS450H), but theirs are 750 miles nowadays.

I love the Grey interior and I needed a lighter color since my 6 year old 04 RX330 was Parchment interior with Neptune Blue which is nearly black in most lights.
